Dun & Bradstreet Dealing Magazine to Goldhirsh Group
NEW YORK — Dun’s Business Month, a magazine geared to top executives of major corporations, will be sold by Dun & Bradstreet Corp. to the Goldhirsh Group of Boston, the two publishers said Friday.
Terms were not disclosed.
Last month, the 21 other magazines owned by Dun & Bradstreet’s Technical Publishing Co., including Datamation, were sold to Cahners Publishing Co. of Newton, Mass., a subsidiary of Reed International of London.
Goldhirsh already publishes Inc. magazine, which is for owners and managers of small and mid-size companies. Goldhirsh said the two magazines will continue to be published separately.
Dun’s Business Month’s circulation is about 300,000 and Inc.’s is about 700,000.
The Goldhirsh Group also publishes High Technology magazine and Hong Kong-based World Executive Digest.
