CLEAN TEAM
Chuck Norris will be wiping out more bad guys when “Firewalker” opens Nov. 21, but he promises that his new cartoon series, “Chuck Norris--Karate Kommando,” will be less lethal when it enters nationwide syndication in January (no local buy yet).
“The cartoons give me a chance to speak directly to the kids like I did when I taught karate,” he told us. “In the series, I work for the President of the United States. My team of crime fighters are a little Korean kid, two teen-age twins, a sumo wrestler and a samurai warrior. Unlike my films, nobody ever dies in the cartoons.”
Norris will also be seen as himself, giving a motivational talk before and after each episode.
