Drug Counseling OKd for Couple
A Tustin couple whose 13-year-old daughter turned them in to police for alleged drug use were permitted today to enter a six-month drug counseling program rather than face felony charges.
Bobby and Judith Young, who had pleaded innocent to drug charges, were ordered by Orange County Superior Court Judge C. Robert Jameson to begin the program immediately. Their daughter, Deanna, made headlines Aug. 13 when she walked into the Tustin police station carrying a plastic trash bag containing $2,800 worth of cocaine and a small amount of pills and marijuana, which she said she took from her parents’ home.
