Death Penalty and Race
I have never been pro-capital punishment. In spite of the recent push toward the death penalty, I do not believe it is mankind’s privilege to decide on the life of another human being. That judgment belongs to God alone.
Your editorial enforces my conviction that capital punishment is wrong. I was outraged to learn that the death penalty is more likely to be brought against an individual who murders a white person. I believe capital punishment should at least be banned until we can insure that the law is being administered fairly.
