Granite Hills High Slips to No. 8 in Poll
SAN DIEGO — Granite Hills, which on Friday had its five-game winning streak snapped by Mount Miguel, 16-14, fell from No. 3 to No. 8 in this week’s Times San Diego County high school football Top 10.
With Granite Hills losing, Sweetwater (7-0), Chula Vista (7-0), Oceanside (6-1) and San Dieguito (6-1) moved up a spot. Orange Glen, which lost to No. 1 Vista, 40-14, fell from No. 6 to No. 9.
Mira Mesa, which has won five straight after losing its first two games, moved into the top 10 for the first time. The Marauders, leaders of the City Eastern League, are at No. 10.
