Brea Couple Held in Bank Robbery
A Brea couple were arrested Monday on suspicion of robbing a Fullerton branch of the Bank of America, police said.
Dennis Lee Badgerow, 30, and Michele Marie Danaher, 29, were taken into custody at their residence in the 1700 block of Birch Street in neighboring Brea, Fullerton Police Lt. Bob Bray said.
They were arrested four hours after the midday robbery in which a clerk at the downtown branch at 401 N. Harbor Blvd. was ordered to hand over an undisclosed amount of cash by two people simulating weapons.
Badgerow and Danaher were being held Monday night at the Fullerton City Jail, Bray said.
