Chicago Bears quarterback Jim McMahon’s condition has been upgraded to probable, and he is scheduled to start Sunday against the Detroit Lions. McMahon, who has been bothered by nagging shoulder and back injuries, did not play in the Bears’ 23-7 loss to Minnesota last Sunday.
