Six supporters of political extremist Lyndon H. LaRouche Jr. pleaded not guilty before a federal magistrate in Boston to charges that they were involved in a scheme to finance LaRouche’s presidential bid with $1 million in fraudulent credit card charges. The charges, stemming from an Oct. 6 117-count indictment, did not charge LaRouche but mentioned him in connection with an alleged conspiracy to hinder the two-year federal grand jury investigation. A Dec. 1 trial date was set.
