A Lebanese militia spokesman said the Israeli airman taken prisoner in southern Lebanon last week is being held in a secret hideout, possibly in Beirut. The spokesman, a member of the Shia Muslim militia Amal who identified himself only as Ahmed, said Palestinian guerrillas and their allies had attacked the Shias who captured the Israeli in an apparent attempt to make him their own prisoner. He said they fired on the car taking the captive to Beirut last week.
