KINGS MILLS, Ohio — James McDowell, executive director of the National Football Foundation, said Archie Griffin and Bill Edwards will be honored at a dinner Nov. 5 at the College Football Hall of Fame.
Griffin, a two-time Heisman Trophy winner and running back for Ohio State University, and Edwards, who coached Wittenberg and Vanderbilt, will be inducted into the football shrine in December.
Cincinnati Bengals General Manager Paul Brown and two long-time Dayton sports editors, Si Burick and Ritter Collett, will also be honored at the dinner.
Former Ohio State Coach Woody Hayes is among those scheduled to attend the ceremony.
