Ralph D. Hillman has been named as the new vice president and general manager, taking over from Louis P. Pantaleo, who will now oversee special projects for the western region.
Hillman, who has been with Donnelley for 29 years, has held a variety of management positions. From 1983 until his present appointment, he served as managing director of Thomson Directories Ltd. in the United Kingdom. Thomson, like Donnelley, is a subsidiary of Dun & Bradstreet.
In his 40 years with the company, Pantaleo, too, has filled a variety of managerial roles, including vice president and general manager of the New York region. In 1983 he was named senior vice president of Donnelley Publishing and last year he came to Garden Grove to serve in Hillman’s current post.
Donnelley, headquartered in Purchase, N.Y., is an independent publisher of yellow pages directories.
