Miraleste Stops Trabuco Hills, 30-14

Running back Mike Silane rushed for two touchdowns and ran back an interception for another as Miraleste High School defeated Trabuco Hills, 30-14, Friday at Miraleste.
Silane had another interception and a fumble recovery to go with his 150 yards in 17 carries to help remain Miraleste unbeaten at 4-0-1.
Trabuco Hills (4-1) jumped to a 7-0 lead on Brett Miller’s 70-yard touchdown pass play to Jeff Dooley. After Trabuco Hills made it 14-0, the Marauders cut the deficit to 14-6 on Tim Lavin’s two-yard touchdown run late in the half.
Silane made it 14-12 with a 15-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, then gave Miraleste an 18-14 lead seconds later when he intercepted a Miller pass and ran it back 36 yards for a score. Silane scored six minutes later from 12 yards out to give Miraleste a lead it would never relinquish.
