The San Francisco 49ers have re-signed running back Wendell Tyler, who had been released on waivers.
Tyler will suit up for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings. The club also re-signed guard Mike Durrette, who had been on waivers.
To make room on the roster, the club waived rookie Tony Cherry and put running back-receiver Carl Monroe on injured reserve with a groin injury.
