USD to Play Host to Claremont-Mudd
SAN DIEGO — The University of San Diego football team goes for its fourth victory of the season at 7:30 tonight against Claremont-Mudd in Toreros Stadium.
USD (3-1) is coming off a 42-16 victory over Pomona-Pitzer last Saturday at Pomona. Pat Dixon threw three touchdown passes and Jeff Mansukhani returned a punt 57 yards for a touchdown to highlight the Toreros’ highest-scoring effort since 1981.
Claremont, 1-8 last season, is 2-1 after losing last Saturday to Occidental, 24-21.
