Quarterback Richard Todd, traded two years ago by the New York Jets and cut earlier this year by the New Orleans Saints, is back with the Jets as quarterback insurance.

Jet starting quarterback Ken O’Brien suffered a sprained knee in Sunday’s 14-13 victory over the Buffalo Bills. Although he is listed as doubtful for next Sunday’s game against New England, O’Brien will probably play.
