Chapman Finishes 3rd Despite Bristol’s Efforts

Chapman College split a pair of games on the final day of the two-day Chapman Invitational water polo tournament Sunday despite the outstanding play of sophomore John Bristol.

Bristol scored eight goals in a 12-11 loss to Caltech in Chapman’s second game Sunday. He scored three goals earlier in a 5-4 victory over Claremont-Mudd.

Chapman (2-11) finished 1-3 in the tournament won by Pomona-Pitzer (4-0).
