Fullerton : Grant Awarded to Train People Aiding Refugees
The Social Service Agency of Orange County has awarded a $41,212 federal grant to a Cal State Fullerton anthropology professor to train social service professionals how to assist the county’s growing refugee population.
Professor Marlene de Rios and the Vietnamese Community of Orange County Inc. received the grant from funds provided by the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement, said Tuong Duy Nguyen, executive director of the Vietnamese group.
