Capo Valley Christian Rallies for 13-7 Win
Capistrano Valley Christian needed a fourth-quarter touchdown by Rod Hoover to beat L.A. Lutheran, 13-7, in a nonleague game Saturday at L.A. Baptist High School.
Capistrano Valley Christian trailed, 7-6, going into the fourth quarter, before Hoover scored on a four-yard run. Mark Swanson opened the scoring for the Eagles on a 55-yard pass from quarterback Doug Lindstrom.
