Singer Leaves Hospital

Ella Fitzgerald, recovering from open-heart surgery, was discharged from the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center on Wednesday, a hospital spokesman said.
The 68-year-old jazz entertainer responded “extremely well” to heart bypass surgery, spokesman Ron Wise said.
