Rancho Santiago Is Third in Cross-Country

Sophomore Ramon Lopez led the Rancho Santiago College men’s cross-country team to a third-place finish Friday in the Moorpark Invitational at Moorpark College.
Lopez ran the four-mile course in 19 minutes 21 seconds, the seventh-best time in the individual field of 125. Teammate Bobby Ervin had a time of 19:37 to finish 18th overall.
Hancock won the meet with 33 points, Grossmont was second with 39 and the Dons had 119.
