Hoover quarterback Chris Rabine scored on a 94-yard touchdown run with 8:59 left in the fourth quarter. . . . Teammate Amir Khaughi kicked the winning conversion. . . . Saugus running back LaMark Allen put the Centurions ahead, 12-0, when he returned a punt 68 yards for a touchdown with seven minutes left in the second quarter. . . . Hoover running back Ray Racendez’sseven-yard touchdown run brought the Tornadoes to within six points, 18-12, with 2:19 left in the third quarter.
KEY PLAYERS
George Koutzen (H) had 123 yards in 15 carries. Kyle Bell (H) rushed 16 times for 100 yards and a touchdown. Chris Rabine (H) rushed four times for 90 yards and a touchdown. Rabine completed seven of 15 passes for 60 yards and had one pass intercepted. Trent Morrill (H) caught five passes for 48 yards. LaMark Allen (S) rushed seven times for 55 yards and one touchdown. Allen also caught six passes for 50 yards. Jared Snyder (S) completed 11 passes for 95 yards.
