Marvin Cobb, a standout for USC in baseball and football in 1972-75 and a former player for the Cincinnati Bengals, was named an assistant athletic director at USC.
Cobb, 33, will administer programs within the athletic department, including drug testing, academic programming, athletic contracts and NCAA compliance.
Cobb, a defensive back, retired from professional football in 1980.
