South County : 110 Illegal Immigrants Arrested in INS Raids
U.S. Border Patrol agents from the San Clemente division have arrested 110 illegal immigrants in raids in El Toro and Laguna Beach, a spokesman for the Immigration and Naturalization Service said.
Spokesman Charles Greer said the raids were conducted Thursday after the office received several complaints from residents in the two communities. He added that the raids were routine and were conducted by six agents from the San Clemente office.
