“A Wedding.” Key. $59.95. Like “MASH” or “Nashville,” this is one of Robert Altman’s ensemble films: a teeming, funny-sad, Bruegelesque portrait of the increasingly catastrophic nuptials between disgraced Old Rich Midwesterners and feisty New Rich Southerners. Many 1977 critics found “A Wedding” overly caustic, but Altman grew up among these people and knows them well. It’s probably his most underrated film, a neglected masterpiece. As the reception spins giddily from afternoon to dusk, from sarcasm to melancholy, we get a brilliant comic-dramatic juggling act and a feast of flavorsome performances. Information: (212) 819-3200.
