199 GRANTS AWARDED

NEW YORK — Grants of $3.3 million to 199 arts and related organizations in 29 states recently were announced by the Shubert Foundation and the Shubert Organization.
The grants ranged from $250,000 to the New York Shakespeare Festival to $5,000 to the Perseverence Theatre in Douglas, Alaska.
