Skateboarder Hit by Car: A Fountain Valley teen-ager was reported in serious condition with injuries suffered when he rode his skateboard through a red light and was struck by a car, police reported. Sgt. Ron Jenkins said Jeremy Ridenour, 14, was riding his skateboard south on Newland Street at 6 p.m. Tuesday when he entered a crosswalk at Edinger Avenue. Wesley Johnson, 24, of Huntington Beach was driving across the intersection on a green light and hit the youngster, the police officer said. Ridenour was taken to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital, where he was listed in serious condition Wednesday.
