Coldwell Banker Real Estate Group said that it has acquired two residential real estate brokerage operations in the eastern United States. Haggerty Realty Inc. in Boca Raton, Fla., and Eisenhower Inc. Realtors in Somerset and Hunterdon counties, N.J., were acquired this week for an undisclosed price. The terms of the agreement were also undisclosed.
A spokesman for Coldwell Banker said that there would be no changes in staff at the company’s four new offices in Florida. “Business will remain as usual and the people will remain in place with the company,” he said, adding that he didn’t think any staff changes would occur in the company’s four New Jersey offices, either.
The latest additions bring Coldwell Banker 114 offices in Florida. In New Jersey, the company now has 33 offices, and the spokesman said that Coldwell Banker has “strong growth plans for that area.”
Coldwell Banker, headquartered in Newport Beach, is the real estate unit of Sears, Roebuck & Co.
