Rory White, who averaged a career-high 11.7 points for the Clippers in 1985-86 before becoming a free agent at season’s end, has re-signed with Los Angeles.
White, 26, started 30 games and paced the Clippers with a .519 shooting percentage.
“I’m very happy to be back with the Clippers,” the 6-8 forward said. “I really enjoy playing for (Coach) Don Chaney and I’m looking forward to the coming season. I wanted to play with the Clippers all along.”
General Manager Elgin Baylor said: “We feel he is an important part of our team and proved that with his play last year.”
