A San Diego cab company pulled its female drivers off the night shift after the gangland-style shooting of a driver this week and the slaying of another woman last month. Coast Cab officials said they would keep female drivers off the streets at night until police determine if the attacks were part of a series. “We just want to find out whether this is just an isolated incident or if we have a real crazy out there,” said Jeff Hano, general manager of Coast Cab. A Coast Cab driver, Sharyn Kamrath, was shot through the neck and left along a road in the La Jolla district Tuesday night. She was in critical condition Thursday, paralyzed from the neck down.
