A grand jury in Arlington, Va., has indicted former NFL running back Terry Metcalf on possession of cocaine and disorderly conduct, according to the county’s commonwealth attorney’s office.
The indictment stems from an incident last March 26 in which Metcalf, 34, was stopped by police for speeding.
While searching Metcalf’s car, officers found one-half gram of cocaine. Metcalf played with Cal State Long Beach, the St. Louis Cardinals and Washington Redskins.
