Retired Air Force Lt. Gen. Richard C. Henry, formerly a commander of the Air Force Space Division, has been appointed to the board of Garden Grove-based Dense-Pac Microsystems Inc., a supplier of memory modules for military, aerospace and industrial uses.
Henry, a 39-year veteran of the Air Force, has held positions in strategic aviation, intercontinental ballistic missile development and operations. He was in the manned space flight program with NASA and he also held posts as staff officer, tactical aviation unit commander and director of the Department of Defense space programs.
After retiring from the Air Force in 1983, Henry served as a management consultant to several major aerospace firms and in 1985 was appointed to his current position as assistant to the president of Ametek’s Computer Research Division in Arcadia.
