Robber Kills New York Subway Token Seller

NEW YORK — A subway token booth clerk was stabbed to death today after fighting with a man who robbed his booth of $121 worth of cash and tokens, Transit Authority officials said.
The victim, whose name was withheld, was stabbed repeatedly in the abdomen, staggered to the street and collapsed. An audit showed $121 worth of cash and tokens was missing from the booth, at the subway station in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn.
