Woodbury to Renovate Its Valley Campus
Work is scheduled to begin in July on a $6.5-million, 14-month construction and renovation program at Woodbury University’s new, 22.4-acre campus at 7500 Glenoaks Blvd., with classes scheduled to open there in September, 1987.
Swinerton & Walburg Co., Los Angeles, has been named general contractor. Architectural supervision will be provided by Coleman/Caskey Architects Inc. and Van Fossen & Peterson Architects, both of Irvine.
The San Fernando Valley site was formerly the location of Lutheran High School and presently contains 12 buildings. New construction will eventually include a classroom building, cafeteria, parking areas, lighting and landscaping. Most existing structures will be remodeled or converted.
