Ropak Acquires Stock of D&D; Container Corp.

Ropak Corp., a Fullerton manufacturer of plastic packaging, has acquired the outstanding capital stock of D&D; Container Corp., a privately held maker of plastic containers based in Texas.
The company said it paid $1.5 million in cash and $500,000 in convertible subordinated notes for 100% of the Texas company’s stock.
D&D;, which had earnings of $168,000 on revenues of $3.6 million in its last fiscal year, is the seventh plant to be acquired by Ropak in North America.
