Rescue Workers Recover Bodies of Miners Killed in Explosion

DRENNEN, W. Va. — Rescue workers Sunday uncovered the bodies of two miners who were killed when lightning set off explosives at a strip coal mine, officials said.
The bodies were discovered under dirt, rocks and coal blown loose in the explosion Saturday at the mine operated by the High Power Mountain Energy Corp. No other workers were injured, authorities said.
