Chino Hills Tract Features Corrals, Riding Trails, Tennis

Summit Trails opens today in Chino Hills, featuring 167 single-family houses in a planned development with corrals and riding trails, as well as tennis and swimming.
The 167 three- and four-bedroom houses by Crowell Industries are offered in six floor plans with 1,872 to 2,634 square feet, priced from $143,500 to $189,650. Thirty-nine of the 59 houses in the first phase have been sold and move-ins have started.
Features include one- and two-story plans, as well as a split-level plan, wood-burning fireplaces, raised ceramic tile entries, greenhouse windows, breakfast nooks, air conditioning, two- or three-car garages and concrete tile roofs. The lots range from 5,000 to 7,000 square feet.
Community amenities, supported by a $65 monthly homeowner association fee, include 12 miles of riding trails, corrals, a riding ring and a community center with a swimming pool and tennis courts.
Six furnished models are open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekends and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays at 2041 Halite Court.
