Malibu : Road Bids to Be Opened

Bids will be opened July 8 for a widening and slide stabilization project on Kanan Dume Road north of Pacific Coast Highway. The two-mile project includes reconstruction of pavement, retaining walls and drainage structures.
During construction, which is expected to begin in mid-October, Kanan Dume Road may be narrowed to one traffic lane in each direction. It is estimated that the project will take 200 working days.
