3 Men Sought in Irvine Shooting

Police were seeking three men in a Ford Pinto following a robbery at an Irvine home Thursday that left another man with a minor gunshot wound, an Irvine police spokesman said.
The shooting occurred on Liberty street at about 8:30 p.m., but police had few details to release.
“All I can say is it’s a residential robbery and a person was shot, with minor injuries,” Lt. Mike White said.
The wounded man, whose name was not released, was taken to HealthCare Medical Center of Tustin for treatment.
