Planners Ratify Encinitas Retiree Center Plans

Plans for construction of the $6.5-million Cresta Mesa Retirement Center on 10 acres at 611 Cresta Drive, Encinitas, have been approved by the San Diego County Planning Commission.
The center, when completed in the summer of 1987, will contain 125 residential units and 59 rooms in a separate skilled nursing facility, as well as a dining service, activity rooms, pool, spa and daily transportation service.
The project is being developed by R. J. Clark Development Corp. of Rancho Santa Fe and was designed by the La Jolla architecture and planning firm of Naegle Associates.
