Oxley Wins Scratch Main Speedway Event
Brad Oxley of San Clemente won the scratch main event at speedway races at the Orange County Fairgrounds Friday in Costa Mesa.
In the scratch main, a four-lap race, Oxley edged Steve Lucero of Riverside and Shawn McConnell of Brea.
In the handicap main event, Gen Woods of Riverside beat Oxley and Keith Chrisco of Whittier for first place.
