The Los Angeles-base parent of Knudsen, the dairy company, said it realized a gain of $5.4 million on the cash sale of 18 Hoagy’s Corner stores, located in the Tacoma and Seattle areas, the Southland Corp. Winn, which has been suffering from cash flow problems, said the money will be used to repay some of its $266.2-million debt, and for working capital.
