Authorities confirmed that three men from Silver City, N.M., were killed when their light plane crashed into a hillside near the Central California town of Morgan Hill over the weekend. The Santa Clara County coroner’s office identified the victims as David Lane, 38, district attorney for New Mexico’s 6th Judicial District; Thomas Foy, 35, manager of the Grant County Airport, and the pilot, Jimmy M. Grimes, 71.
