Formenko Wins Grand Prix Surfing Title

Andy Formenko of San Clemente won the men’s professional division in the California Amateur Grand Prix of Surfing Sunday at the Huntington Beach Pier.
Janice Aragon of Huntington Beach won the women’s amateur division; Lisa Anderson of Huntington Beach placed second.
David Eggers of San Diego won the men’s amateur division and the overall series for the division.
