Maneuvers in Caribbean

SAN JUAN, Puerto Rico — U.S. and Caribbean troops assembled today for joint maneuvers culminating in mock invasions of Puerto Rico and Grenada--the island nation stormed by American troops three years ago. The weeklong exercise, nicknamed Ocean Venture ‘86, involves a Navy and Coast Guard task force of 14 ships and 10,000 U.S. troops from the Army, Air Force and Marine Corps, along with National Guard units.
