CHP Identifies Sylmar Man Killed in Crash : Local News in Brief

A 22-year-old Sylmar man who died Saturday when his pickup hit an embankment on the Hollywood Freeway and overturned was identified Sunday as Froilan Velazquez, the California Highway Patrol reported.
Four others riding with Velazquez were injured in the 6:30 p.m. crash in the southbound lanes of the freeway, south of Roscoe Boulevard. They were treated for minor injuries at St. Joseph’s Medical Center and released.
No other vehicles were involved.
