Peru is scheduled to pay commercial banks $17.7 million today on the country’s $450 million in overdue interest, the first payment since the new government took office last year . . . British investor Christopher J. Moran has offered to buy Zondervan Corp. of Grand Rapids, Mich., for $96 million, and directors of the religious publishing house will discuss the bid Tuesday . . . Nippon Telegraph & Telephone has agreed to produce telephone directories with ITT in its first joint venture with a non-Japanese company since it was privatized in April, 1985, ITT said . . . A federal appeals court in Washington has upheld a ruling that Eastman Kodak violated several Polaroid patents for instant photography, Kodak officials said . . . Monsanto increased its regular quarterly cash dividend on the company’s common stock to 65 cents per share from 62.5 cents, payable June 12 to shareholders of record May 12 . . . The stockholders of Los Angeles-based Sunrise Capital have approved changing the name of the corporation to TPA of America Inc.
