University of Texas Athletic Director DeLoss Dodds told the school’s athletics council that he was working with Longhorn coaches on a proposal to limit access by outsiders to athletic locker rooms after games and during workouts.
Dodds had said earlier, after reports that Texas football players had received cash, meals and preferential treatment from school boosters and sports agents, that he was considering a proposal to ban alumni from locker rooms.
