Beverly Enterprises, the Pasadena-based operator of nursing homes, has changed its operating management in order to strengthen its nursing home operations while the company expands into home health care and sales of durable medical equipment.
George P. Wagner Jr., president of the eastern divison of Beverly Enterprises since 1980, has been appointed executive vice president with operating responsibilities for the company’s nursing homes.
Wagner will be succeeded by Arthur A. Carr Jr. as president of Eastern. Carr has been with Beverly 11 years and has served as division vice president and most recently as assistant to the division vice presdent.
Charles Jordan Jr., currently executive vice president, will assume responsibility for home health, pharmacy, retirement lilving, purchasing and construction. Jordan has been with Beverly since 1981 and was the president of its Northern division until 1984.
