Former heavyweight boxing champion Larry Holmes apologized for questioning the integrity of Nevada fight judges, saying that he had no intention of offending anyone when he said that the judges drank before fights and accepted payoffs.
Nevada State Athletic Commission members called on Holmes to apologize at a press conference or face a hearing on whether he should be licensed for his April 19 fight against International Boxing Federation champion Michael Spinks.
