Amputee Craig Bodzianowski staged a strong comeback and stopped Ric Enis of Richmond, Ind., at 1:46 of the third round in their scheduled eight-round cruiserweight bout.
Bodzianowski (15-0) was in trouble in both the second and third rounds before he caught Enis (14-8), a former All-Big Ten halfback at Indiana with a tremendous right to the chest that sent the fireman sprawling for a 10-count.
It was Bodzianowski’s second venture into the ring since his right leg was amputated six inches below the knee nearly two years ago following a motorcycle accident. He is fitted with a prosthesis.
